Try, Inspire & Qualify is an exciting adventure weekend for adult members in Guiding.

Archery GB Instructor Award - Gain a recognised archery qualification to run sessions within your county or island. This is a two-day course.

Please note, you will still be required to book onto the Try, Inspire, Qualify event in addition to this course.

Food Safety - A course designed for those wishing to complete their Going Away With qualification, but also suitable for any member who would be involved in planning, purchasing or preparing food within a Girlguiding setting. This a 4-hour course.

Paddlepower Start - Gain a certificate in basic boating skills, safety and equipment. This is a one-day course.

A residential selection weekend of community action and international experiences for Guides aged 11 to 13 within Girlguiding South West England.

Please note, Guides can only attend this event once.

A special celebration event for those who have been nominated to receive either the Compass Award or the Young Adult Leader Award and for those who have achieved a Gold Duke of Edinburgh award, Gold Peer Educator award, Queens Guide Award or received a Silver Oak Leaf award during 2025. 

This welcome evening is open to all volunteers who have recently joined Girlguiding South West England.

This session is open to all existing Peer Educators and is your chance to talk with the lead volunteer for Peer Education and other Peer Educators.  You can come along to if you have any questions, highlights, concerns or feedback or you would like the chance to talk with other Educators in the region.  

Girlguiding Hampshire North - Brownies Through The Ages!

This event is for Brownie units from Hampshire North only.

This session is open to anyone interested in learning more about Peer Education from leaders to commissioners to young volunteers interested in becoming Peer Educators. 

The Level 2 training course is aimed at members 18+ wishing to extend their existing walking skills, to learn how to lead groups safely in open country, and work towards gaining a Girlguiding walking qualification. The course will include both theory and practical outdoor sessions.

Bookings are open to volunteers from all regions within Girlguiding. 

The Level 2 assessment course is aimed at members 18+ who have already undertaken a level 2 training course or have an exemption from training.

Girlguiding South West England are having a region office open day! The office will be open to both units and groups of adult members to come and meet the staff, explore St Ann's Manor and even complete some activities.

Fully catered weekend at Wimbleball Lake in Dulverton for Guides, Rangers & Young Leaders.

Water activities may include - sailing, canoeing, kayaking, rowing, raft building and wind surfing. 

Onshore activities may include - climbing, archery, geo-caching, crafts and much more.
