Peer Education Think Resilient Topic Training Day

Peer Education Think Resilient Topic Training Day

Calling all Peer Educators

We are giving existing peer educators the opportunity to join us on our basic training weekend to be trained on the Think Resilient topic.

We know girls can do anything if they’re not held back by the stress and pressure of everyday life. Think Resilient gives them tools to build their mental wellbeing.

Think Resilient is designed to build mental wellbeing and grow resilience in Brownies, Guides and Rangers.

Resilience helps girls cope when they're faced with the stresses of everyday life - whether that's in their schools, families or friendship groups - so that they can have fun, take new opportunities and have good mental wellbeing. And you can count Think Resilient towards your Be Well UMA hours as well!

What do I need to do?

To attend this training, you need to make sure that you have completed;

  • Safe space training for 14-17year olds or if 18+, the safer guiding training.
  • Completed a Peer Education basic training.
  • Watch the Think Resilient topic video and complete the quiz.

During the day you will learn all about this topic and everything you need to know to be able to deliver sessions to units in your area.

Booking terms and conditions apply. As per section 8 of the booking terms and conditions, if you simply do not attend or provide us with a notice to cancel less than 7 working days before the event date, we reserve the right to require you to pay us any costs we reasonably incurred in relation to your attendance at the Event.
