Lights out at Longleat

We have teamed up with Longleat Safari Park to bring your Brownie unit an exciting sleepover opportunity.

Open to Brownie units within Girlguiding South West England.

Brownie price: £95

Adult price: Adults within a 1:8 ratio will be charged £44 (1 adult charged £44 for every 8 paying brownies). Additional adults will be charged £95.(This ratio is for costing only, you must have 1 adult for every 6 brownies as per Girlguiding policy) 

Young Leaders: Our preference is that young leaders do not attend to allow as many Brownies as possible the opportunity. However, we will accept a maximum of 2 per unit. They will be charged £95 each. 

Carers will be charged £44 which covers catering & safari bus charges.

Deposit £25 per young member due within 10 working days of booking. If you need to pay by unit cheque, please select offline payment.

An invoice will be sent to you after booking detailing a breakdown of the fees. 

Balance payment due by 31 July 2026 - no change in numbers permitted after this date.

Please note, there is limited availability for leaders at this sleepover event so please only book the number of leaders required as per Girlguiding ratios e.g., brownies 1:6. For clarification, if you have 9 brownies attending you can bring 2 leaders. If you have a young member with additional needs that requires an extra adult, then please include them in your booking. 

Accommodation will be on the floor in The Longhouse event space so all members will be required to bring bedding. You do not need to have the going away with guiding licence or going away with scheme to bring your unit. 

Price includes

Day one - Units can arrive early afternoon and then explore the park until it closes at 5pm. After hours activities will run by the staff at the park and may include an after-hours boat cruise, animal talk or wildlife walk. After dinner, members will set up their beds before collecting popcorn ready for a movie.
